Like so many in our community, I am shocked and devastated by the murder of Jeff German. Jeff was a talented reporter who was tenacious in his research, speaking truth to power, and being a voice for those who go unheard. He was a fierce advocate and we will be forever grateful for his voice and the way he exposed abuses within the Public Administrator’s office. We are grieving along with Jeff’s family and friends, his Review Journal family, and the Las Vegas community.

In the coming months, there will be plenty of focus on the perpetrator of this horrific murder. For now, I am trusting the dedicated Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Clark County District Attorney’s office to bring the perpetrator to justice while we focus on saying good-bye and processing our grief over the loss of Jeff. I will remember his unwavering integrity, his bravery, and the many insightful/revealing stories he gave to our community.
